Thanksgiving with Fred!!!

Jada lookin for something to get into trouble with.
Uncle Mac cutting "Fred". Years ago when Sage turned 3 on Thanksgiving Mac came to Las Vegas for the big day and named the turkey Fred. It has stuck with Sage and now every turkey we cook is called Fred. I think technically this is Fred 7!
The kidlets waiting for the food to be done. So this year Kristin decided she wanted everything done a certain way so she basically took it upon herself to cook most of the Thanksgiving dinner. That was fine with me, however, Kristin was up the whole night before sick. So.... that left Mac and I to take over and cook the whole feast!!! Kristin felt so bad about this, especially since she was only sick that 1 day and was up and running the day after Thanksgiving!!!

Polar Express Train Ride

We went on a real train ride on the Heber Creeper where you dressed in jammies, had hot cocoa and cookies, read the story of Polar Express, sang Christmas songs, and had a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Here is Sage and Cade getting ready to board the train.
All the kiddies in their jammies. It was so cold that night!!!The train ride was about an hour and a half long. Jada loved the hot cocoa and cookies. Her first experience with each.

Santa gave each kid a bell to put in their pocket. We checked our pockets to make sure they were not torn before we put the bells in.

Sage's 9th Birthday Party-"Camp Rock"

The girls came to our Camp Rock themed party where they played rock band...
...had a pretend sleepover in pajamas while watching the movie....
...and had kitchen duty where they had to make dinner and dessert.

Sage invited some friends from school and it was a super fun party! It was fun to hear the young girls talk about boys and who they liked. I can actually remember being 9 years old and starting to like boys. I guess it wasn't that long ago even though my kids tell me I am "so old". Zane was horrified that they like boys already and I told him to relax. Who didn't like boys at 9? Anyone care to comment???

Jada's 1st Birthday!!!

Jada tasted the cake and liked it but she kept trying to eat only the candy off of the butterfly cake. She surprisingly ate the skittles and smartees without choking on them. She loved them!!!
Here she is eating candy!
What a beautiful baby! Jada picked out this guitar from Kohl's and loves it. She dances to the music even if she was grumpy.
Opening her presents. Jada wasn't really sure what to do, but her siblings helped out.

My first cup of milk and I liked it a lot!
My first time in my front facing carseat!
Zane dressed me up for Halloween as a Mercenary.

Finally Posting After 2 Months

Cutie Cade trying to scare me!
Carving our pumpkins!
Cade is Darth Vader, Jada is a ladybug, and Sage is a cowgirl.
Jada thinks she is a motorcycle woman!
What a precious precious girl!

This is for you Marci!!!

Here is Jada doing her favorite thing, taking a bath. She gets so excited when she hears the tub filling up and starts screeching and jumping. I can hardly get her clothes off before she is trying to climb in. She has stopped now, but for a while she would cry everytime I would take her out and she would try to jump back in the tub.
When Thanksgiving Point had their $2 Tuesdays in August we went and did the farm and the dinosaur museum one day then the next week we went to the gardens. None of my pictures turned out from the gardens because I forgot I had my camera set to black and white and I couldn't tell when I was out in the sun. None of the beautiful flowers look as impressive as they really are when they are in black and white.
They both loved riding the ponies. We went with Grammy, LaLa, Gavin, Rylee, Peyton, Kristin, and Greysen. Everyone had a great time.
The 3 boys sitting together in the rocker. They must be tired.

Lehi 1st Annual Foam Day!-July 24th

Lehi City just opened up a new fire department and in honor they decided to start a tradition of having a field full of foam to play in. They made the foam with fire hoses. They also had a firetruck with a hose hanging out of the fire ladder spraying the kids clean. This was the coolest place to play. People had the foam covering every inch of their bodies-even their eyes. It smelled like soap. People were having so much fun sliding in it like snow and making soap angels. Everyone had so much fun!!!

Cade lost his first tooth!!!

Cade lost his first tooth last week and he was so excited. He was equally excited for the tooth fairy to come. Last year when Sage kept losing teeth and getting money from the tooth fairy they both decided to try and trick the tooth fairy together so Cade could get something too. They left a note explaining that Cade lost his tooth and couldn't find it anywhere and asked if they could still have money. They put the note under his pillow and the next morning Cade was so mad. He went and told Sage he didn't get anything and it sounded like he was going to cry! Now since he lost a real tooth and got money. He was on cloud 9!!!

My Little Cutie!

It has been a tradition to take all of the baby's pictures in this antique bathtub at my mom's house. I have a picture of Sage and Cade in this same tub. It is amazing how alike they can look without clothes on!

Here is my mom with her youngest 5 grandchildren. They are all under 2!

Cousin's Week Beach Trip

It was that time of year again to go to CA for our 7th annual Cousin's Week. This year the theme was "Fly Around the World". More pictures to come of everything we did. The only day my camera left my purse was when we came to the beach.
Aunt Becky was helping Sage learn how to boogie board
Sage and Peyton building something in the sand.
Grammy and Cousin Paige holding Jada at the beach. Paige was so happy there were 3 little babies this year so that she got Jada all to herself. Paige held Jada anytime she could the whole week. She even fed her and changed her. She also called Jada "Her Baby." I thoroughly enjoyed having a responsible free nanny.
Becky with her 2 girls. Reese and Presley love the beach and Presley especially loves to eat the sand. We could not get her to stop!!!
